Ur so gay song

I realize it's meant as a light-hearted stab at an ex-boyfriend. I'm all for being politically correct, but your going too far. I just don't like that she's going to encourage the year-olds to keep using their already-favorite phrase. It makes me sick.

It's not much different than when people scream "Jesus Christ" when they slip in the shower. So get over yourself, and stop trying to sound smart, because it's just a song and it's a JOKE. I have so many gay friends and they think this song is hilarious and I'm bi-sexual and love it.

I'm pretty sure that Katy Perry would not make fun of gay people. I mean, she even sang a song about how she kissed a girl, so it'd be kind of hypocritical to make fun of them. Can't you people just laugh and get it over with? She probably has a million gay friends who tell her they approve of its use.

Even worse is that this song will further encourage young people to use "gay" as an insult. And it's not english class, you don't have to use correct grammar in a song. I know the song isn't about how she hates gay people. She co-wrote the song with its producer, Greg Wells, while Drew Pearson served as the track's engineer.

You sound like you're in the everything-sickens-me phase. Using the term "gay" to mean "less than a man" is incredibly insulting.
